You're probably up to your waist in generic pictures of tattoos. It seems like you've seen just about every cookie cutter design ever put on the net. If this sounds way too familiar, you are not even close to being alone, as millions of us go through this. I know how to turn it right around, though, so that you can dive into fresh galleries that post huge collections of crystal clear, original pictures of tattoos.
That's what we all want, yet 95% of us never end up fulfilling that dream. Instead, it quickly turns into a nightmare, because the web is so darn cluttered with this generic junk at every turn. There are a lot more generic laced galleries out there than there are high quality ones. I know how to squeeze past those terrible galleries, though, while getting right to the ones you need to be aware about. The first step is simple: Please keep away from search engines and discontinue using them when surfing for pictures of tattoos.
It may sound pretty drastic and unwarranted, but it's very necessary, unless you are looking forward to getting thrown into a world of generic artwork. That's the only type of artwork websites you get from their lists now. The better galleries never show up in their lists, because they are grossly outnumbered by the bad ones. Now we come to my last tip, which solves all of this mess: If you really want to see amazing collections of pictures of tattoos, big forums will instantly help you find those awesome galleries.
Just pick any fairly large type of forum and scoot over to their handy archive section. One you're in there, the world is in your hands, because the archives are stacked with topics about tattoo artwork. They are all yours for the taking, but you only need to choose some of the bigger ones. Pick them and jump right inside, because people have been sharing so many names and links to the top of the line galleries they've found when they searched for pictures of tattoos. You get the best of the bunch, while bypassing the generic places out there.
It's your sneaky trick for flying over to the sites that really care about the pictures of tattoos they show to people.

MIAMI, March 25 (UPI) -- Rock star Tommy Lee has acquired his latest body art during a flight from Burbank, Calif., to Miami, Starlight Tattoo announced Tuesday. The tattoo was administered by Starlight's artist and CEO Mario Barth aboard a Gulfstar G-4 private jet traveling at about 40,000 feet, the report said. The event was documented by the Guinness Book of World Records as the first tattoo performed in high altitude. Lee had been on his way to the 23rd annual Winter Music Conference in Miami, where he is set to appear with partner D.J. Aero at Cameo Friday. "Mario at Starlight Tattoo is the best tattoo artist in the world," Lee said in a statement. Starlight did not offer details about where Lee's latest body art was located or what it depicted.

Manhattan-based tattoo artist BangBang revealed via his MySpace page that songstress Rihanna has a new tattoo: a small set of guns on her ribcage.
Based on the photos and their captions, it seems that Rihanna flew BangBang out from New York to Los Angeles to do a little ink. Rihanna is a tattoo afficionado, with tats on her neck, Covergirl would not have appreciated the guns.
upper back, ear, shoulder, hip, and finger - and those are just the visible pieces. She has used BangBang for most of her art, judging by other photo albums on his MySpace page.
BangBang posted a picture of Rihanna with guns drawn on her shoulders, writing, "i really wanted to put it here...she loved em...but, cover girl wouldnt have liked it much...and they pay the bills!"

Chris Brown is pushing it. We guess he is trying to get her attention? Earlier this month Rihanna caused a big stir by giving her tattoo artist Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy and three people some ink. RiRi drew an umbrella and an “R” on his leg which he had sketched. Not even a month later C-Breezy is doing the same exact thing! Chris tattooed McCurdy also. Earlier this week Chris inked Bang Bang with his own cartoon drawing with the word BANG above it. In a OK! Magazine exclusive: “He[Chris] drew it. It’s pretty funny. I told him, ‘Do whatever you want’, and he drew something and I liked it. He did a great job too. He’s a natural, which is funny because I said the same thing about Rihanna. She was really good the first time, but he was better. He wasn’t nervous at all, I asked him if he was, and he said, ‘Nope — not at all.’” Because of all of the drama surrounding Rihanna’s ink job on Bang Bang in NYC they had to leave New York to do the job. Chris and Bang Band had to find a state where it was legal for anyone to use a needle as long as they’re in a licensed parlor. You might ask where? we don’t know but we think they may have gone to Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Connecticut? Who knows. Bang Bang added: “We took a ride in a car to a different state so that he wouldn’t get in trouble,” said Bang Bang. “We drove for a couple of hours to do a five minute tattoo.”
